Melissa began her career in financial services in 2004 after finishing up a 2-year project with a non-profit in San Luis Obispo. One of her projects was to create and maintain a financial tracking system. There she developed a desire to help individuals and businesses with managing accounts and forecasting budgets.

 

Originally from Orange County, CA, Melissa attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she played lacrosse and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance.

 

Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband Alex and their five children. When she isn’t chauffeuring her kids around town to their various sporting events she enjoys traveling, exercising, and sharing a meal with great friends. She is involved with her church, North Coast Church, where she serves in the children’s ministry.

• Travel - Mammoth is my favorite place- both in the winter (snowboarding) and summer (hiking). Kauai is a close second.

• Sports – Almost every afternoon and weekend you can find me watching my kids play football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, or horseback riding.

• Coffee – Can’t go a day without it!

• Books – Memoirs are my genre of choice.

• Padres – Catching a game at Petco Park is always a treat.
